Partnering With The Pole - Led by Simone
Looking for a way to incorporate more dance into your pole routine?
Want to learn the fundamentals of partner dancing without having to find an actual partner?
Drawing from her experience in swing, salsa, blues, argentine tango and, of course, pole dancing, Simone will help you expand your dance vocabulary to include body isolations, ochos, swivels, body rolls, turns and more. This class is designed for everybody from beginners to professionals seeking to explore their musicality in a fun and challenging way.
Developing a relationship with the pole similar to the lead-follow dynamic in partner dancing, will increase every dancers confidence as they are able to express more personally the music.
Classes will be capped at a max of 10 students, everyone will get her own pole... your partner!
Partnering with the pole classes will be 1 hour in length.
Partnering with the Pole 'drop in' class is $15 per class. Please register online in adavance for your space. You can register for any Monday class through August 2008.

About Simone......
After begging her mother to be released from the bonds of ballet lessons at age 5, Simone's dance future looked bleak. Fortunately, somewhere out of the blackness of college she discovered a new passion for partner dancing, and has since thrown herself into various forms of dance with such fervor, that she often kicks herself for not sticking with ballet. She has spent most of her dance time working, and traveling for swing, blues, and argentine tango, but has also dabbled in many other kinds of dances. She started pole dancing at The Bombshell Ballroom in February of 2007, and quickly found her niche' incorporating into pole dance all of her past partnering dance experience. She could not be happier to have the opportunity to share her love of dance with everyone who graces the dance floor of The Bombshell Ballroom.
